Oluwasegun Dada Omotayo
Oluwasegun Dada Omotayo is a clinician with over a decade of experience in non-communicable disease advocacy and care. He is committed to improving health outcomes in underserved communities, focusing on diabetes and hypertension. By using improvised mobile clinics and strategic alliances, his goal is to contribute to the reduction of diabetes and hypertension-related deaths and disabilities across Nigeria, particularly in impoverished communities. Oluwasegun was a Heller-Japan/World Bank Fellow in Global Health Policy and Management at Brandeis University, USA, 2021-2022. He was also selected for the 2021 Environmental Epidemiology Accelerated Research program funded by the Center for Africa Initiative at Washington University, USA. Additionally, Oluwasegun was a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow of the U.S. Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) at Duquesne University, USA. He is a 2012 medical graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
